Do you offer free shipping?

Yes — all orders with a product value of €1,500 or more qualify for free shipping anywhere in our delivery zone. For orders below that threshold, shipping costs are calculated based on the total weight of your order. You will always see the exact cost at checkout before payment.

How fast do you deliver?

Estimated delivery times after dispatch:

  • Netherlands: 1–3 business days
  • Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany, France, Czech Republic: 2–5 business days
  • Rest of EU: 3–7 business days

These are estimates and may vary during peak periods. Heavy or oversized items (pallet deliveries) may take slightly longer, and the carrier will contact you to arrange a delivery time.

Where do you ship?

We ship to all European Union member states: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, and Sweden. We do not currently ship outside the EU.

What couriers do you use?

Depending on your order size and location, we use carriers such as PostNL, DHL, DPD, UPS, GLS, Raben, and DACHSER. The carrier is selected automatically based on your address and order weight.

Why am I receiving multiple packages?

Some orders contain products that are dispatched from different warehouses. If this is the case, you will receive separate tracking numbers for each shipment. All packages will arrive within the same estimated delivery window. If you have any questions, please contact us at info@salonselect.nl.

My order shows as Returned to Origin (RTO). What does that mean?

An RTO status means the carrier was unable to deliver your order and has returned it. Common reasons include:

  • Incorrect or incomplete delivery address
  • No one available to receive the parcel after multiple attempts
  • Parcel uncollected from pickup point within the holding period

We will contact you to arrange redelivery. Please note that re-shipping costs may apply. Make sure your address and contact details are correct when placing your order.

ORDERS

Can I change or cancel my order?

We can modify or cancel orders that have not yet been dispatched. Please contact us as soon as possible at info@salonselect.nl with your order number. Once an order has been handed to the carrier, we are unable to make changes.

How do I track my order?

Once your order is dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number and a link to the carrier's tracking page. You can also track your order via our Track Order page.

Can I change my delivery address after placing my order?

If your order has not yet been dispatched, we can update the delivery address. Please contact us immediately at info@salonselect.nl with your order number and the new address.

PAYMENT

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept a wide range of payment methods. For the full list, please visit our Payments page. All payments are processed securely and all prices include VAT.

Is it safe to pay on your website?

Yes. All transactions are processed by PCI-DSS compliant payment providers using industry-standard SSL/TLS encryption. We do not store your card details on our servers.

In which currency will I be charged?

All prices are in euros (€) and include VAT. If your bank account uses a different currency, your bank will apply its own conversion rate. Please check with your bank for exact charges.

RETURNS & REFUNDS

Do you accept returns?

Yes. As a consumer (purchasing for personal use), you have the right to return any product within 14 calendar days of delivery, without giving a reason. This is your statutory right of withdrawal under EU law.

To initiate a return, email us at info@salonselect.nl with your order number before the 14-day period expires. Full details are in our Refund Policy.

Do I need to keep the original packaging?

We strongly recommend keeping the original packaging until you are sure you want to keep the product. While missing packaging does not void your right to return, we may deduct an amount from your refund to reflect any reduction in the product's value. For large items like salon furniture, this deduction can be significant. See our Refund Policy for full details.

Can I return salon furniture or pallet-delivered items?

Yes. Large items are subject to the same 14-day right of withdrawal. Please contact us before initiating the return so we can arrange the correct logistics. Keep the original packaging for pallet items — repackaging costs may be deducted from your refund if the packaging is missing or damaged.

Are returns free?

For standard right-of-withdrawal returns, return shipping costs are borne by you (the customer). If the return is due to a defect, incorrect item, or our error, we cover all return shipping costs. See our Refund Policy for details.

When will I receive my refund?

We process refunds within 14 calendar days of receiving the returned goods or proof of return (whichever is earlier). The refund is made to your original payment method.

Can I exchange an item?

We do not offer direct exchanges. To receive a different product, please return the original item and place a new order. This ensures the fastest processing time.

WARRANTY & PRODUCT QUESTIONS

Is there a warranty?

Yes. All products sold to consumers come with a 2-year statutory guarantee under EU law (Directive 2019/771). This means every product must conform to the contract at the time of delivery. If a defect appears within 12 months, it is presumed to have existed at delivery.

Do you have physical stores?

We are an online-only retailer and do not have physical showrooms or walk-in stores. All orders are placed and managed through our websites.
